Altes Dental Clinic is a private oral and dental health practice in Altunizade, Üsküdar, Istanbul. The clinic is run by its founder Dt. Mevlüt Yazıcı, who has been practising dentistry since 2011.
Patients are seen for dental implants and surgery, zirconium and veneer applications, digital smile design, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry and general dental treatments. Which treatment is suitable is determined after an intraoral examination and, where necessary, a radiographic assessment.
All treatment processes are carried out in compliance with sterilisation and hygiene rules.

Assessment and planning
The current situation, any alternative treatment options and the duration of each option are evaluated. If more than one method is suitable, all the options are explained separately.

Information
The procedure to be applied, whether it is reversible, possible risks and the recovery process are explained. Treatment does not begin until your questions have been answered.

Treatment
The procedure is carried out in line with the planned stages. Surgical procedures are performed under local anaesthesia.

Follow-up
Follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor healing. Long-term follow-up is as important as the treatment itself for the durability of the result.
Not every treatment is suitable for every patient. In some cases an existing problem — such as gum disease, active decay or an uncontrolled systemic condition — must be addressed first. If the examination shows that a treatment is not suitable, this is stated clearly.
